Someone e-mailed me some real ads that people place in the newspaper. They were all funny but these 2 made me laugh so hard.

FOR SALE: Full size mattress.
Royal Tonic. 20 year warranty. Like new. Slight Urine Smell.
$40 818-222 ****

FOR SALE: Tombstone. Standard gray color.
A good buy for someone named Grady.
508-375-****

That last one had me and my husband rolling on the floor. He kept saying, I wonder what happened to poor old Grady??????? LOL

Outstanding. Hey, that urine mattress is in my area code!

There is an absolutely fabulous web site http://www.yousuckatcraigslist.com that is just loaded with this sort of priceless gem. I go there whenever I need a really good laugh. I mean, pee your pants (or mattress) laughter. It is just amazing what some people will try to sell.

Can't seem to make this link work, but you can Google it.

Oh, please do! And while you're there, click on "The 8 Suckiest Craig's List Ads" tab at the top, and scroll down to the Nacho Cheese Fountain and the Bronze Lady Coffee Table. Read the comments, and then tell me if you don't laugh so hard you hyperventilate. Then continue on to the person selling his truck because he can't get to it what with all the bees.

These are hysterical...and I believe I'm going to have to bookmark yousuckatcraigslist!  The bronze table was actually scary!  With all the stuff around it and on it, it was obvious the owner used it for not so honorable purposes! hahahahaa

Sue, I seriously was lying here with tears streaming down my face reading the comments on that thing. I just could not stop, every comment was funnier than the last. I have that web site on my tool bar and any time I need a laugh, I can always find something there, whether it's some ridiculous thing someone wants to sell or a roommate ad placed by someone who is clearly insane. The person who realized what a gold mine of comedy Craig's List is, is obviously a genius.

Suzy, your husband is right. What the heck did happen to poor old Grady? I mean, did he get the tombstone because he was anticipating his imminent demise, and then maybe they found a cure and he got a new lease on life? Still, you'd think you might hang onto that since the lease is gonna run out eventually. Eh?
