Breast Implant Support is a non-profit, privately run, support forum created for
the sole purpose of helping women who have become ill from their
saline or silicone implants. This forum will provide
information, support and a list of qualified Plastic Surgeon's that can
perform a proper explant (en bloc). We also provide information in detoxing after you have had your explant. PLEASE NOTE: This forum is for women only!

Tips for Using the Forum
As you can see, the entire look of the forum changed and we have many new
features.
The first one I'd like to mention is to be able to view the most recent
topics as you will see on the 'sidebar'. If you put your cursor in this box,
it will stop scrolling. In order to go right to a topic, just click once on
the topic name and you will go right to that thread. This box contains the most recent topics that have been posted.
Also, the buttons that were at the top of the screen have been moved to the side
for easier accessibility.
We have a section for related links that has information pertaining to
silicone and saline implants and their dangers. You will also find this on the sidebar. Just click on any link to take you to that particular site.
The search feature which we had before is now located on the sidebar also.
This is a very helpful feature if you are looking for information on a certain
subject. Just enter the word and click on search and you will get a list
of posts that match your search criteria.
What we are very excited about is our new chatroom. You will see the
chatroom in the sidebar but we also have a full screen version.
Just click on the link in 'Related Links' or the link directly under the chat room and you will go right to the full screen version. Anyone not a registered member or not logged on will not be able to access the chatroom nor will they be able to see anything posted in the chatroom. This is a very basic chatroom and we plan on seeing how often it is used. Depending upon that, we will upgrade if we find that our members are using it, to a chatroom with many more features.
Have fun! We hope that you will enjoy this new forum as much as we do and
find it easier to locate all the information you need to know on the dangers
of saline and silicone implants, explanting surgeon's, herbal supplements and
detoxing, current news and health related articles. Also we have the humor
forum to lighten things up a bit. Remember, laughter is the best medicine!
Please feel free to post any pictures of pets or your children. If you need
help with any of the new features or posting pictures, please don't hesitate
to ask either me or Kathy.
Remember too that we have a hidden forum with explant pictures and stories. Please ask for access to this. This is hidden so that no one surfing the net will
see our pictures. Feel free to post your before and after picture in this
forum and also your story. We do ask that any before or after pictures should only be posted in this forum for your privacy.
Remember, that we have the sections separated using green category bars so that you can find everything with ease. Each section has a title in BLACK under the green category bar. This title is clickable. So click on that title and it will open up that section and you will be able to see all the topics in that section. To post, make sure you click on the 'New Topic' button in the upper right hand corner of the topics window. We encourage our users to create a topic for each new subject and when they see that the topic is becoming pages and pages long, please start a new topic. If not, we might have to close the topic for you and start a new one ourselves. We have had some problems with the threads becoming so large.
Also, the "New Members" section is just to introduce yourself and we encourage all new members to introduce yourself here and let the other members know whether you have saline or silicone implants. We then encourage you to post your questions regarding implants and/or the other topics in the appropriate section. There is a Breast Implant Related Topics and General Discussion forum and most topics should be posted here related to implant related questions. Explant should go in the explant area. If you post in the wrong area, don't worry about it as this is just an overview to help you and help us to keep the board user friendly.
The logo at the top of all the windows acts as a quick link back to the home page. Click on it to go back to home after your are finished posting.
Also added is a button next to reply, edit and delete entitled "top" in the posting window. Click on this button and it will take you to the top of the page so you will not have to scroll to the top.
Last but not least, don't forget to check out our calendar! Feel free to post your explant date and don't forget to click the "public" button so all can view your date. All of the holidays are posted, click on the little "memo" icon to see any special memos for that occasion. If we missed any special holidays for the country you live in, please feel free to add it!
