I am new to your forum. I had silicone implants put in under the muscle. 300 on the left and 450 on the right.

The last 3 weeks have been the worst of my life. I have had intense neck pain that starts along my right shoulder blade and goes up my neck. It is painful to turn my neck to the right side. The pain is terrible at night. I wake up 2:00 and can barely move. I am taking 3 advil every 6 hours. Once I get into the shower and stretch (which hurts terribly) it gets alittle better but never fully goes away. My spine hurts went I touch it in a curtain place. The last two days it has gotten significantly worse so I am in intense pain all day.

I have been going to the chiropractor 2x week, taking muscle relaxers at night, acupunture x1 week, advil and icing and it's getting worse not better. Last night it was so bad I was crying and took vicodine and a muscle relaxer. I don't want to get into the habit of taking drugs. I have a Dr aptment with my general physician to find out why I am having so much pain. My first apt was two weeks ago and was given muscle relaxers and to rest it. I have done this and it's not helping. She is a good Dr so I know she'll run test if I need. What tests should I have her run?

So my questions are this. Did any of you have this kind of pain? If so was it caused by something other then the implants being toxic like maybe them being uneven in size and throwing your spine off balance. Is there any hope this will get better without having to go through an explant surgery? Anything I can take for the pain that is more homepathic? Any advise would be very helpful.

I have a 3 and 5 year old who depend on me and I am having a hard time caring for them. My husband travels alot for business so I have to be clear headed to drive them around and can't take drugs.

Thank you,
Lisa

Munkeepryncess, can you first tell us how long you've had your implants? I can't tell if they're brand new or if you've had them for a long time.

It's possible this could be either local or systemic.

Explanted en bloc 7/8/10 by the awesome Dr. Jae Chun, with full anchor lift.

Two years with submuscular saline 275 cc's + eleven years with silicone gel, 450 cc's. Ugh.

I think Suzy mentioned in her other post that she found out that her implants were causing inflammation in the spinal cord.

Did they find out if your implants are what is causing the pain or are you assuming that that is the cause? I want to be explanted asap. I am trying to find a doctor. I am also trying to find out if I need an en bloc since Ive only had implants for 6 months. I want to be safe. I am miserable. The pain is pretty constant.

I wanted to tell you dont be afraid to do the explant your health is so much more than the look of the implants. think health.

I have a constant sharp pain underneath my right shoulder blade. I've only had my implants in for almost 2 weeks though. Although I know that pain is related to getting the implants and I am almost positive the pain will immediately be alleviated when I get them removed. It doesnt feel like typical surgery related pain though, I am sure it has to do with nerves which I am also sure will not go away in time unless explanted. My body was just not supposed to have implants.

I am so sorry that your implants ruptured after 4 months! I can't believe it is possible. It is down right scary. How is everything now? I hope that you are doing better and thank you for sharing this with me

Autumn
